impartial vs partake

appartments, department, impartial, participate, partake這幾個字好似互不相關，但其實它們都有一個詞根part。

Part有部分的意思，appartment（公寓）是由一間間房間所組成，departdment store（百貨公司）是由若干柜台或部門所組成的，participate（參加）是因為大家都扮演不同角色，particular是指各部分中比較特別的部分，partake是把部分食物take（拿過來），另人想到一家團聚時大食會的情景。
